Default Fuel injectors

I know when you change fuel injectors you usually need to have your car retuned. What I would like to know is can you drive the car with it untuned and for how long. I will be switching from svt 30lb inj. to svt 42lb inj.

Thanks gman

My tuner is about a hour away. Would that be to long of a drive without a new tune and what kind of issues could this cause.

It's going to be very rich. I'd find someone to edit the injector table
whike the car was being worked on.

Were only talking about swapping injectors, right? Drive there on the stockers and swap in the new ones in the parking lot!

So it would not be a good idea for me to drive to Chicago from Des Moines (400 miles)with the 30s that I am putting in for the tune?

What all tools do I need to load up so I can swap injectors after I get to Chicago?
