Fuel Pump Question
Fuel Pump Question Ok guys, quick question about the fuel pump. I have heard that this is a not so good part of our cars, and much like the water pump, is almost guarenteed to fail, and when it does, is a very costly part to replace. This information was given to me by a GM tech, who also said that the pumps love to die right around fall/winter, something with the change in temperature that gets to them. Is there anyway i can help to keep my fuel pump going? I have changed the filter at the suggested intervals. I have heard that not letting your gas run to low helps. Opinions?
