Default ethanol ls1

does anyone have any knowledge regarding the ls1 running ethenol or E-85 fuel? I know a lot of newer cars are capable from the factory and lots of people aren't aware that their car will take the fuel. Alternatively, I've read about people who have modified their engines to accept the fuel. With prices the way they are today, how awesome would it be to make your own fuel for virtually free and be able to floor it everywhere you go!

I have read a bunch about E10 E85 and E95 today. Sounds like there are still lots of questiosn to be answered about infrastructure concerning ethanol; and the consequences of using high concentrations of ethanol in platforms that were not originally designed to support its use.
