Default Fuel problems?

I went to start my car this morning and it would turn over but would only run for a second or two and then it would die. I tried it a few times and it kept doing the same. I just said screw it and drove the g/f's car to work. My first thought was that the fuel pump or the relay went out. But I tried it after work and it started up and ran fine. Any clue what it could be. Just a bad morning or is this a sign of something starting to go bad? Car only has 28k miles.

Bad gas or water in the line. Could be one of many different things. If it hasnt had a tune up lately give it one. Check the fuel PSI with a gauge to make sure its OK.

I was planning on trying to get a hold of a fuel pressure gauge to check that out. I'm hoping that it was just bad gas, because its been running ok so far.

Was the security light on or flashing? Sounds identical to a VATS problem.
