i have an extremely loud fuel pump. it makes a distinguished whining sound and comes from the back right of the trunk but when the music is off you can hear throughout the whole car. its usally only like this when i first start it up or as soon as i get off the highway, in city driving its completely quiet. is there anything wrong with it?

Probably pump is going out. They usually only get loud when they are hot or you are low on fuel - less than 1/4 tank.

Thanks for the help, i usually dont put more than a half tank in it, so the low fuel could be it. ill try to pay attention to the gauge and when its loud.
