Setting fuel pressure
Prime the pump a few times (key on gives you approx 3seconds of pump run time) Without the engine running you will not have any vacuum. So I set it that way to get the car running. Once running check the pressure and make sure its still where its supposed to be. Vacuum will drop the pressure slightly, and as your motor climbs to 0 vacuum the pressure should raise slightly.
It all depends on how you tune the car. LS1's typically are tuned for a steady 58psi without a vac line. On a blower car, I like a boost reference only line so the idle is a steady 58psi and then it ramps up 1:1 under boost to keep the injector flow steady.

Well normally my pressure is at 53 or so at idle with the blower on. But right now Im not running the blower so Im trying to lean it out a little. I dropped it down to factory using the pump prime as a reference and pulled the plugs and now its lean. Guess Ill just keep using the prime method and keep upping the pressure until the plugs look right.
