Default Bosch 42# Injectors

Do these come on anything from the factory? I am trying to buy a set and the only way they can look them up in through vehicle type. Is the correct PN 0280150558?

So the FMS are actually Bosch Injectors? I have a set of lime green top 42# off a lightning and thought they are FMS/SVO not Bosch...separate or equal entities?

Bosch makes them and others put their name on them.

I think the SVO series 30, 36 and 42 are great. Have used them all. The 42s run ~50# for us. Easy to tune.

summit had them for like $25x i think. THE injector of choice for big cam or head/cam combos. too small however for any form of FI.

That may not be enough then. I thought they were good to 600. Back to the drawing board I guess.

it's about 480-500 with a healthy margin. just use this and you'll see what you need:

Cool. I have that sheet, now I need to learn how to use it. Under the bigass cam line you have VE at 120%. At what kPa?

well, the VE LS1's display is not really VE, it's VE at pressure and at temperature...so don't pay attention too much to the 120% number. basically go with 80 for stock, 100 for small mods, 120 for a fully done setup. i find it to be a very good heuristic.
the important inputs are in yellow. cylinders, displacement, max rpm, VE (use the heuristic i just mentioned), and boost. most NA cars can't really get any boost with ram air setups under 150mph so i'd just set it to 0 for just about any NA car. then the numbers in orange just tell you how much fuel you're using, and how much injector do you need to keep it in the safe (80% duty cycle max) range. very simple, and suprisingly accurate.
