Default 100 LL Avgas aviation fuel

Is the 100 octane Low Lead Avgas compariable to regular 93 octane?

I run a decent size nitrous dry shot on a stock bottom end, and I have a decent tune. I am just looking for a little "insurance" running my car in this summer heat. Please refrain from saying "run less timing." My tune is safe where it is.

I can purchase 104 VP fuel, but it is "out of the way." And I would rather not run leaded fuel that they sell at the track.
How low of a lead is is the 100 LL?

the bottom line is that Avgas 100LL has a slightly higher motor rating than unleaded Motorsport 103 VP race gas and it has less lead than the leaded racing fuels offered at the race track and it is less expensive than leaded or unlead racing fuels!

this looks to be a "lack luster" topic probley due to the fact that most do not have the option of buying this fuel easily like you Pas.

Fill one of your cans up for me and let me know what i owe you!

I called Lafayette Aero to get a quote: $4.89 per gl. I'll get a quote from the ARA tommorrow before I buy it....

dont be fooled by the Low lead name. I have been told that 100LL has 3 times the lead in it that leaded fuel had back in the day.
