Low Fuel Pressure..20 PSI

Low Fuel Pressure..20 PSI I run custom fuel rails and a mechanical fuel pressure guage on the end of one of the rails..usually 58 PSI of pressure but now it is at 20 PSI .. but the car still is running great..I am thinking that the guage is malfunctioning and giving a false reading..would the car still run good with 20 PSI of fuel pressure??

I work at a chevy dealer and I checked with one of my Techs and they said the guage must be bad if the car was running good..20 PSI is not enough pressure for the car to run correctly..I was thinking that it might be a bad guage..
