Fuel pumps and needed fuel pressure
Newbie here with a delimma, working on my 69 camaro with 98 LS1, I pulled the tank today and found out why the aeromotive pump is so noisy and little fuel pressure.
Found the gas tank had been modified with the top of corvette tank welded to the camaro tank, and I believe that the stock corvette in-tank pump was installed. Also I believe it has a stand alone sender next to the fuel pump. 2 ring sealed accesses, and then an aeromotive pump on the frame rail going to the engine.
Question, will I get the required 58 psi to the rails????
I installed new s.s. line from summit and a relief valve to the return line.
the intank fuel pump connector hose to the line was dissolved and seal for sender dissolved, (cause of the fuel leak at tank). thanks, Ken
P.S. CHP april 1994 cover and feature car.
