Anyone familiar with the venturi pump system in the c5's?
As i understand it, the feed line coming off the tank actually has a Y in it that sends 20% or so of the flow to the passenger side tank to power the Venturi pump to keep the drivers side tank full...
So - I have an idea, but curious if anyone has any thoughts on if it would work or not before i spend the $$ to test it.
I would like make the feed line go direct to the filter without the Y and have the return line feed the venturi pump. Not sure if i need to basically keep the Y system and still have the return go to the driver side tank while bleeding pressure off to the venturi pump, or just feed all the return to the venturi and hope it brings enough fuel back to the drivers side.
The other alternative is to get a low psi pump that can run dry and pump the fuel out of the pass tank.....
I am sure there are a could of different ways to skin this cat - just trying to Keep it simple.
Thanks.
