Injector question
I know this is probably a played out question and has been asked a million times. I am usually great with searching but everytime i search this forum it times out. Not sure if there are maintainence going on but it has been acting up for a couple of days, anyway onto the question.
This is for a buddy of mine. He has a 2000 SS LS1. This winter he is planning on getting 402 stroked block with heads, big *** cam and is wondering what injectors to get. Brand/Size/where to buy. He will be doing a 50-100 shot of nitrous, and MAYBE eventually turbo or supercharger, probably a supercharger. If we could get injectors to support that now it will be less to buy in the future. I suggested MSD 42# since I know the MSD brand but if anyone has a suggestion where to buy or any other input I am a japanse engine tuner and dont know much about the LS1.
Thanks in advance everyone,
Mike Turco

a friend of mine had a 347 stroker 5.0 turbo hatchback stang at his shop not long ago that put down 650ish hp and 700ish tq at the wheels, and it was running some RC 96# injectors. it also had a standalone AEM computer to run them
The reasoning behind that statement: Inj mfgrs have substancial flow rate tolerences. Some more than +/- 5%.
So, "Murphy says" there's the possibility that you will get a set that could be a 10% variance. NOT something you want to tune around....
