Default Fuel pump for 700hp?

Hey guys,

Its time now to replace my stock fuel system, we already have braided lines and fitting planned out.

Now im just trying to find a reliable street/strip pump. The car right now makes 530+hp 500+tq, i will be putting a progressive 200 shot to it also.

I see that most guys are running Walboro, im thinkin thats what most of you will recomend too.

I was looking at the AEROMOTIVE A1000 PUMP , seems like a stout pump.

So, what pump?

Tony.

I'd run a Weldon A400 before the Automotive pump. The best would be a seprate fuel system though.

Im not really knowledgable about plumbing or fuel systems yet.

But i take it a seperate system is Tank, pump, lines, regulator, that meets up with the fuel rails, and i use this when on nitrous. And then have my N/A street setup too?

I'm looking into an Aeromotive A1000 pump in the near future, i just got some 60# injectors the other day.....large amounts of PSI are in the future of my car so that's why i'm going with the A1000.

So when people say "sumped tank" whats is the difference between that and a stock tank. I understand that the stock tank and setup is inline. But whats the differnce?

Also i am thinking about the Weldon 600A as a pump and then an Aeromotive Regulator.

I had great success with my Aeromotive A1000 pump and am now stepping up to the Aeromotive Pro Series pump due to the hp levels I am shooting for. I am also selling my A1000 pump if anyone is interested. PM me.
