Trust me, I hate to see people go through these problems more then anyone. Fueling issues is the last I wish upon anyone....

Do some research and make some calls to manufactures of the stuff you are using and gather suggestions. Then use common sense and sum it all up before you install and see whats feasible. You'll get it figured out.

If you have an LS1 and haven't completely remapped your ecu then the regulator should not be hooked up to manifold vacuum. The reference port should be hooked up in a tube ahead of the throttle body. Referencing the LS1's fuel pressure to vacuum will lean out the engine varying ammounts due to pressure being lowered under vacuum, unlike the factory's unreferenced system.

BTW cavitation causes "bubbles" due to the fuel boiling as its pressure is lowered from an inlet restriction. These bubbles compress under fuel system pressure when they make it to the outlet of the pump. The problem is that flow is reduced as the inlet stops moving liquid fuel.

I have it manifold referenced, but my a/f while crusing, driving without boost is a perfect 14.6-14.8. I also have zero ideling problems that most see with the 60# injectors, so Im going to leave the fuel stuff alone at the moment.

Interesting stuff abiut cavitation for sure.

Dont sweet the referenced setup right now..Just move the pump. I had the same setup with an A1000 with the pump mounted on the frame rail, with the outlet of the pump even with the last part of the tank. I used the reference port to trim fuel at cruise and i too didnt have any idle issues...it actually ran better at part throttle then it would without the port hooked up.

I have no problems at part throttle or idleing with 42 PSI. I think its helping the 60#ers. I always read how people have trouble with idleing with them.
