Default MagnaFuel Pumps

Who is currently using one of these pumps and how do you like it? I need to decide and order a new pump for my new setup. Built 408 with ET heads and Stenod TT system.

I am really considering the Magnafuel pump. I need something that can handle over 1500 crank HP, preferably more. I would rather have too much than not enough.

My only other options are the Aeromotive Pro Series Pump or the Weldon 2035 race pump. But both of those pumps seem to be right on the edge of what I need.

So any insight would be nice.

Thanks

Mine is working fine. It seems just as quiet as my Weldon 600A. I have this one:

MP-4301 1,500+NA HP 20–120psi 12A@45psi #8AN in and out 7"L x 3"Dia 4.5

Same one I have. I like it.

I have a 4303 and it works fine, I can easily get to 9:1 a/f at WOT so its moving a decent amount of fuel. I am nowhere near 1500hp though. The big weldon pump is what I what I woukd do if I was planning on making that power.

On the plus side I have done some street driving with the magnafuel and it does a great job, could always use one and if its not enough you can always add another one

I consdiered this, but I am not a huge fan of dual pumps. One goes out and well bye bye.

I think I am just going to go with the Weldon 2035 for some extra bretahing room. Thats what Joe at Stenod is suggesting and well I trust his word seeing as how he is building the car for me also.

Thanks for the input guys. As soon as I get everything here I will put up some pictures.

TrakDay,
Thank you for your confidence and trust in the Weldon Racing Pump -- but before you purchase the D2035-A, please call me or email me. The D2035-A fuel pump can support upwards of 1800 hp @ 80 psi, but it is not intended for street duty. Some have been very successful in using it in the Pump Gas Drags, Drag Week and some racing classes that require a 20 or 30 mile cruise, but that's not what the pump was designed for (street driving).

Thanks,
