I'd love to know too.

I bought 60 lb mototrons so I could "grow" into them. I'm curious to know that the limit is...

i was wondering this too....i kinda figured, with no mathematical theory or anything really related, but i figured since my stocker 29# injectors were going static at 421hp, i figured my 60# being twice the size should be good for 840 at the wheels.....and if i ever get to the point where the 60#ers are not enough...injectors will be the least of my worries lol

It really depends on the rest of your fuel system. With a well built fuel system with larger fuel lines set up in a return system, a large fuel pump, a boost reference regulator, etc, the injectors will be able to handle much more power than when used with most of the stock fuel system.
The fuel system we assembled for this car will give you a good idea of what is needed.

Car looks great Thanks for the input. My car is a forged internal 346 400trn moser9 nitrous 175 that runs10.20to30's 1/4. Will be installing pt88 turbo with all the right stuff My fuel system will easily handle 1500 hp My concern is my stock computer and only #65 injectors avialable. I'm hopeing to make 900 to 1000 hp at the motor on boost which I have already made on spray 300 shot custom TNT kit.

We've had 60 pound injectors at 800 rwhp, I'd say you're going to need RC 75's, and that may be pushing them. Bob

indicates at 1000FWHP, a BSFC of .6, a duty cycle at 90%, the inj requirements are 83# inj's. If you want a bit lower duty cycle,[85%] then a step up to 88# injs. I think the next closest is 95.

making a system to allow lo imp injs to be run w/ a stock system.

Don't think you will find an inj that'll support your goal of 1000FWHP, and not be a lo imp piece..

You will not make it with high imp. inj. you will need a set of 83-96 and a VersaFueler injector controller or a stand alone computer. As Bob @ Exotic said it all depends on the rest of the fuel system how far your injectors will go. Give me a call I can help you setup the fuel system. http://www.nastyperformance.com/FuelSystems.html

Thanks for all the input I talked to a friend of mine at a local performance shop and he keeps #75 in stock and his supplier may be offering #83. He has a Mustang with twins and #75 and is making 910rwhp through a standard trans. BUT the injectors are maxed out. Thanks again Nate at NastyPerformance but my fuel system will handle the 1000hp easily Weldon Pump and Boost Controlled reg,Comp Tech fuel rails, 16gal fuelcell,10an supply,8an to rails and return.

Kind of like me It depends on your application and hp goals. Mine is to make 1000 fwhp and this will max out #75lb injectors, because I have a stock computer I am limited on the size of the injector. What are your hp goals and do you have the motor and fuel system to handle it? You can calculate your needs with the site from the Sticky.
