Default Fuel Rail Question-Single Line, Dual Line, etc.

I have been studying up on the differences between the dual and sigle line fuel rails on the LS-1 cars. From what I have been told, the Camaro engines had the regulator in the tank?? Is the regulator really needed?

On my conversion, it would be simpler to use a single line set-up to the Corvette fuel filter/regulator mounted on the frame, and then two lines out to the sending unit/fuel pump in the gas tank. I was planning on using the AC-Delco 241 fuel pump attached to a factory style 87+ FI Blazer sending unit on my 1981 Blazer K5.

Is there any difference between the single line Camaro and Corvette fuel rails?

Any help would be appreciated.

Your setup will work just fine. It is either a reg in the back via Corvette filter or reg in the rails and a return line from there. Either way will work fine. I set one up very similar for a friends RX7 LS1 swap.
