Default stock fuel line limit?

What is the limit of the stock fuel lines? My project will have a 408 that should put down about 500/500 on the motor. Now I plan on spraying up to a 300 in total on the n02. Will the stock fuel lines from the tank to the fuel rails support this? This will be a dry setup.

it used to be 600rw, but have seen some with enough fuel pressure go 700rw.. you need to overdue the pump set up to push through the line.

I have an intank 255l walbro, 42 lb injectors, a voltage booster, boost-a-pump and speed inc fuel rails. Right now I see a constant 62 lb for fuel pressure. My duty cycle on the injectors is 65% right now.

Me2 ,

We have found that 700 horse is where the volume cant keep up. But it realy depends on the BSFC of the motor.

So can we go with a larger hard line for the feed line? I know you can go with fuel hose but not sure as have seen issues with degrading of the inside of the braded fuel lines.

We've made 995rwhp through a T400 trans with the stock fuel line/filter and dual walbros.

Now do you feel that was because of the fuel pressure that you were runing? If so what was the fuel pressure?

thats impressive, even if you were running the voltage up to the pumps.

there are online calculators for that will tell you fuel speed through the line at a given line size, fuel pressure, and horsepower

i used this to determine that for 'normal' fuel speeds i would be safe with a single -8 line for anything i would ever do with the car.

i dont know the drawbacks of having fuel moving so quickly across a distance but assume that there are some

so from what I can tell it is all about how much fuel pressure you can produce. With a dual intank setup it seems that there will be enough pressure to support 800 rw on a nitrous setup.

So if you from a single to a dual setup is there a disadvantage of having say a 255l and a 355l in the tank together?

Pumps were just running off vehicle voltage, no boost-a-pump.

I'm not sure what drawbacks there would be but the car has ran consistently well since it was finished.

I was wondering this too. If you're running twin pumps, do the flow rates of the pumps meed to match?
