Exclamation stuck in open loop??

i have a quick question/problem that i cant figure out. my car is stuck in open look i think. my o2 qauge wont sweep like its supposed too. it just stays in the rich area all the time. at idle, while driving. all the time. i dont have a boost leak, its not the fpr, mas, or o2 sensor. ive checked them all. i have over sized injectors but my ecm has been reflashed for injector compensation and my problem is new. im just looking for idea as to what to look for. thanks guys.

When one of my O2 sensors died, it flatlined at 0V, throwing everything WAY rich. Sure you don't have a bad sensor?

its the 92 talon in my sig. im sure my o2 sensor is ok cause i replaced after the insident with a new one. i also swapped out the maf with 3 other ones to eliminate that as a possibility. im 99.9% sure i dont have a boost leak and everyhting else is in order.

well here's how I see it since you havent told us if your gauge uses a wideband or narrowband sensor I'll assume its a narrowband which in itself tells me that if its not switching you have a bad sensor more then likely, if its not a bad sensor that doesnt mean your in open loop at the time it just means your rich all the time...big difference. Check your tune for those injectors...thats where I would start

This is just a shear guess, but most vehicles ecus (closed loop) can only adjust in a range of plus or minus 20 percent for the fuel trims...maybe you are out of this range and your cars ecu has gone into a safe or limp mode.

Another idea is your map sensor (if your car has one) could be bad telling your ecu that you are in boost which keeps it in open loop.

If your car drives normally otherwise then maybe its just your narrow band display. Do you know anyone with a wideband to check your actual a/f ratio? I have one but I'm neary 3000 miles away and not willing to part with it.

Your last resort is to drive to your local auto parts store and ask them to read any trouble codes you might have.

I don't proclaim to be any sort of DSM expert so take all of this with a grain of salt.
