time to upgrade fuel system

The main thing you haven't stated is if you are using a wet or dry shot. Wet shot doesn't need the fuel injectors to compensate for your HP just the fuel pump, whereas a dry setup needs both to compensate.
All of those calculations above are assuming a BSFC of .5 but a good tune can change the BSFC to lower so you can safely get mor HP out of the same items with a good tune.

40 = 64HP (8 injectors = 512 HP Safely [576 HP MAX])

155 liters (41gal) = 246lbs of fuel which is capable of supporting 491 HP
190 liters (50gal) = 301lbs of fuel which is capable of supporting 600 HP
255 litres (67gal) = 404lbs of fuel which is capable of supporting 800 HP
