So I am just curious if this install will work the same for a 98 LS1 transam. I saw the install in the sticky but it says for 99+
I have a walboro intank and I want to do the install soon, just looking for the easiest way to get the job done and for any hints or tips. thanks

Sure does.
I did mine the exact same way (98 Z28).
Funny story, it apparently also works on LT1's cause I had a guy come in to check on the price of a fuel pump, them come back about 3 minutes later like "well, now I NEED that pump."
I showed him how I did mine, but said I wasn't sure it would work for him. He didn't seem to care and gave it a shot.
So, yeah, you can do it in about 2 hours in a parking lot with ghetto shears and borrowed tools from a Kragen.
