Default Running evap without the solenoid

On the stock truck manifold the evap solenoid mounts on the passenger side right behind the throttle body. The line goes into the top and the solenoid vents directly into the intake manifold.

I am going to be running an SSR manifold on my new setup, and this manifold has a nipple in the correct location, but was designed for the solenoid to be mounted to the fuel rail and then have a line run to the manifold.

My question is this.....my stock evap line will run and connect to the nipple on the SSR manifold exactly how it is right now. To do that though, I would have to do away with the evap solenoid, which means that the line would always be "open" from the gas tank to the intake manifold. Is this a problem? I'm going to boost the motor also at some point also, would I run into problems pressurizing the gas tank this way?
