fuel pump filter sock mod.
**********Please excuse my ignorace as I havn't seen the inside of a fuel bucket with a pump installed*********8
I've ordered a Racetronix plug & play fuel pump for 99+ fbody. My understanding of the filter sock is that when installed, has a 90* bend in it (Makes an "L" shape) It seams that this kink would restrict the inflow of fuel. Would it be better to have a rigid elbow where the bend is. Would this maximize filter surface area?

meh my motor will burn it up jk... i know i know but id rather replace an inline filter thats impeding flow than pulling my fuel pump again to change a darn sock when it gets clogged...
