Intake questions What is this part called an does anyone know the part#
It is in the back of the intake. Also there is a small crack in the intake next to it. Does this mean the intake is trashed?
If I have to get a new intake can I get an LS6 intake and install without any extra mods?

Yes, you can patch it. I did my old LS6 intake. Then again, I am a JB weld *****
Mine was worse. The guy I bought it from didnt pack it too tight in the box, and I guess during shipping the intake fell on its back side, so the map sensor housing busted it in different spots.
