Default Replacing a fuel pump by myself

I don't have the money to have a shop replace my fuel pump assyembly. so I disided that I am going to change it myself. I wanna cut a hole in to the back of where my seats are( just above the fuel pump.) but Idk where the best place would be. I don't really have a way to take off my rearend and my tank in my own garage so I figured I would just try this instead. any ideas?

Took me an hour to drop my tank, hour to put back in. 90% of the work was by myself. I didn't have to take the rearend out of my car.

Same here, however he has a '98, and the tank design is a little different, and from my understanding much more of a PITA to remove.

98's are metal I know that. The newer ones are plastic units and they have different set ups in the tank. I would drop the tank though instead of cutting up your car. Unless you plan on turning it into a race car and don't care about it. Dropping the tank can't be to hard.
