Default Will a "boost a pump" fix it?

My car, loses fuel pressure after about 95-100mph. The pressure remains constant while at driving conditions, you know, about 70 mph or so. So, we came to the conclusion that its more than likely NOT the regulator. So he recommended a "boost a pump." Now, logically it would work, but what do YOU think, I need some advice from those that have tried it, or somebody who actually has knowledge, as I dont have much. Could it in fact be the regulator?

With a provharger you should have an aftermarket pump to start with. The ATI inline is pretty much useless.I would do a Walbro intank and voltage booster.

Ok well I think I am going to try it for sure, to the above poster that mentioned the pump. I already have one, which is kinda frustrating because its the racetronix one, shouldnt have any problems, but I am, first I am going to get the boost a pump, because its an easier install, and if it fixes it, awesome, then I will have to check on other things. (FPR specifically) where can I buy the Kenne Bell?

I have an MSD boost-a-pump for sale if you're interested. Racetronix reccomends the MSD unit over the Kenne Bell unit if I recall correctly.

well if that is the case, the msd over the kb, I can get the msd from jegs. I didnt see anywhere on the racetronix website that stated msd over the kb, it just mentions both. the msd cost more money.....

I had no luck with my MSD bap/ racetronixs hotwire kit. My fuel pressure would drop at 2 lbs of boost to about 54 psi fuel pressure, and would drop to about 44 psi at full boost 8 lbs. My fuel pressure would also start dropping at about 100 mph without any boost. I'm looking into a new fuel system now.

I was having fuel pressure problems for a long time. I tried new fuel filters,
larger fuel lines, BAP. I just wouln't belive that my Racetronix fuel pump with the hot wire kit could be bad. The pump had very few miles on it.
I tried to call for Tech support, but they never called me back.
I bought another fuel pump from LPE and everything is perfect.
I put it back to the stock fuel lines and don't need the BAP now.

Do you have some more info on this LPE pump? How big is it? Do you have a return line?

It is the same pump. I was just mad B/C Racetronix has such bad Tech service. I have a 97 C5 with return fuel line.
What I was trying to say, was just because something is new doesn't make it right. The pump was never right and it took me several years and a blown engine to get it my HEAD that the pump was the real problem for my fuel pressure loss. Live and Learn. Good Luck.
Tom.
