Re: Stock fuel pump whine Man, mine started whisteling the other night. Mine is also a 98. I need to do some research, looks like alot of 98's are having this problem. Oh by the way, it started after a 50 shot of nitrous. Not a big shot, but may have done it for my pump. The car seems to be driving ok, but i guess the end may be here soon? Anyone else have input?

Re: Stock fuel pump whine If the pump gets hot it will whine and also if you drive around with 1/4 tank of gas its going to whine (cavitation). My whined from day one under those conditions drove it for two years that way. Know just have a walbro 340, that was put in to support the twin turbo, not because the stock was going out.
