Default Forgot to hook up charcoal canister... is that bad?

After finishing up my Racetronix install yesterday, I am now thinking that I forgot to hook up the charcoal canister line that sits up above the tank... and I'm not about to rip everything out agian unless I absolutely have to. So far, (driving it to work once without a cat-back ) I haven't smelled anything funny or seen anything dripping out... I'm assuming I'll have a check engine light come on soon, can I just have it tuned out and not worry about it? Thanks

youll get a check engine light and it should eventually smell like gas...enough to make you want to tear it apart cause of alll the headaches from the smell.

I haven't had a gas smell yet, but I blocked off the EVAP port on the intake after I put my fuel system on. I just left the hose in the back hanging...

I went ahead and bit the bullet and dropped the tank just enough to fish my hands up there and re-connect the line. It was actually easier to do it through the filler door... but I definately had an unusual ammount of gas smell when I opened the door. I'm glad I did it.
