FAST 90mm Intake & Fuel Rail Help
I have a 2006 LS2. I bought a FAST 90 mm intake and Fuel Fail along with a set of LS7 injectors. First, the FAST intake injector boots are not compatible with the LS7 injectors or the old LS2 injectors. They sell a conversion kit but from the description it's a conversion for the OEM fuel rail and not the manifold. The second problem I noticed was the LS7 injectors are a 1/2 shorter than the LS2 injectors. Do you have to modify the FAST fuel rail mounting blocks to make up for the shorter LS7 injectors? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have LS7 fuel rails in my FAST with 42lb SVO injectors. The LS7 fuel rail works with the FAST intake. Using SVO injectors give a normal height injector. So, there is no straightforward answer. However the LS7 fuel rails do not have a big inside diameter for large fuel capacity.

I took the red/orange o-rings off the LS7 injectors and replaced them with the blue o-rings off the LS2 injectors I had. The LS7 injectors now press into the maifold sockets with no problems. I tried the LS2 injectors with the blue o-rings but the FAST fuel rail interferes with the tops of the mounting bolts and will not line up properly. The 1/2 shorter LS7 injectors and the FAST fuel rail has no interference issues but now I need to make a new set of brakets to secure the fuel rail.
Stock 3/8" fuel lines will not support the volume of fuel needed for 1000 hp. 1/2" or -8 AN will work, but your better off being safe and run 5/8" or -10 AN.
