Default Advice on Nasty Walbro 340 install

I bought a Nasty performance fuel kit that includes the walbro 340 pump, install kit and hotwire setup.

A couple of questions does the kit that nasty supplies require me to modify the fuel bucket or is it PNP like Racetronics.

When using the Trapdoor method is the location of the cut the same on a convertible?

Any other tips or tricks from those of you who have been there done that.

Vehicle is a 2002 Z28 convertible.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

the directions i had for mine said to cut out a section on the flat side of the sending unit, which is what i did otherwise the pump wont get fuel, and the little filter flops out of that hole you cut and you remove the one in the bottom of the sending unit

I read the instructions on mine and it says nothing about having to cut the bucket like in the walbro sticky?

The box says 1999 to 2002 F-body specific is it possible that it is plug and play and uses the stock fuel bucket?

DO NOT CUT A HOLE IN THE BUCKET. You purchased a direct replacement PnP pump. It mounts in just as stock did. I strongly rec. not doing the trap door method as you need to rinse and clean out the tank as to not damage the new pump with debris. Make sure the pump spins and pumps before bolting the tank up some cars seem to be wired backwards and the pump spins backwards so you need to switch the wires around.

Thanks that was the answer that I was looking for.

I thought it was PNP but I wasn't sure nice to hear it from the horses mouth so to speak.
