low fuel=open loop???

Default low fuel=open loop???

a guy i work with told me if you have too low fuel the car will go into open loop.

any truth to this? i always try to be empty as possible at the track but now im thinking otherwise

..... kinda like the guys who go around telling me about the thermostat being computer controlled and if you change it you MUST ABSOLUTELY change your tune....

he is wrong. and so are the fools about the thermostats.
let me guess, was he a guy at a service department that has 10yrs experience and knows what hes talking about?? LMAO!!!! can you tell i've ran into some people?

I think it fairley safe t say the guy at work is an idiot.

I had a guy at the motor pool tell me one of our work trucks (a late 80s deisel Chevy van) had a computer controled trans and it adapted to the driving habits of the people driving it. As it wasn't going into drive until about 2500rpm, I blurted out "COOL; I've been doing neutral drops for so long it looks like the van started doing them for me"

Oh, forgot to mention. Under wide open throttle your in open loop anyway.
