I'm using the weldon 2047 on my car.

the 2040 should be more than enough for you, it'll even leave you some room to grow.

I bought it from a local speed shop for a good price.

more than enough for a na engine, just make sure you run a -8 return, the -6 is a little small.

Aeromotive sells -6 o-ring to -8 male fittings.

how is the -6 too small? speed inc and others are using stock return lines and making well over 1000hp. ive also heard of going with a bigger feed and using the old feed as the new return

Because they run staged injection and pumps, they keep fuel flow to a minimum under light loads and turn on the second pump when needed keeping the fuel from heating up.

The return has nothing to do with how much HP you will make, just a means to keep the fuel cooler.

i see, what do mean by staged injection? im assuming that can only be set up with BS3 or FAST system. what about cars that only run (1) pump?

If you are running a large single you want as large a return as you can to keep the temp down, if you are running a stock/walbro/racetronix then you are fine with the stock system.

i would run the largest lines possible a -10 feed with a -8 return should work well and give you plenty of room to grow.

Run a -10 to the rail, you can use a -8 crossover and -8 to the regulator since the ID of the rail is 9/16 or less. you have to mount the regulator away from the firewall to be nhra legal i would mount it on the strut tower. then run your -8 return to the rear of the car.

Keep away from any sharp 90* bend use as large a radius and free flowing bend as you can, and don't get stuck on braided line, the pushlock line is good to 250psi and the fittings and lines are much cheaper than braided.

Man, I got hijacked. LOL JK, I don't care. I was just wondering if I picked a good fuel pressure regulator and if not, what should have I gone with?

I also wanted to know how to route my setup having the regulator, gauge, aftermarket rails, etc.

I haven't heard of this Weldon brand until recently. Where do you purchase these products? Are they good?

just avoid any sharp 90's and you'll be ok.
