Default Racing Fuel causing a MIss ???

Well i went to the track friday and my Friend Drives a 86 stang Race car had some 114-116 octane racing fuel and i put 2 gallons in my car car seemed to run fine pulled 12.50s all night .But i notice in town below 2000 its almost like a dead miss in the car spits and sputters , give it more throttle it goes away.I didnt ask if the race fuel was leaded or unleaded. Also the car was throwing a P1154 Fuel air metering Code .Car has never done this before with lower octane racing fuel 104-106 would that cause this and if so should i just run the rest of it out or fill up with just pump gas

Thats because anything above 104/106 fuel IS Leaded fuel and it will start to destroy your O2's...... Id mix in some pump to try and delute the fuel.......

thanks nasty thats what i thaught i just wasnt sure I should have known his car being a pure drag car >But would that cause any performance loss maybe in Ets at the track.I was worried to death beacuse the car would not idle For nothing today it was like the car was Untuned again but Lesson learned on that
