Default Trap door, covering up?

What are you guys using to cover up your trap doors? I was thinking that dynamat would work pretty well but its $40 for 4ft.

Any other options that are simple and efficient?

Tony.

i went to home depot and bought a piece of 8"x12" aluminum for $5 and used some double sided foam tape doubled up and it worked fine. fits flat under the carpet and can never tell it's there

You can also use Water Heater Insulation...it is cheap at home depot......see Tony Stewart......he will show you....OR...any square piece of sheet-metal will work for a temp. door.

Ill look for the pictures but the best idea ive seen is find a small electrical box. The kind you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot. Take the front off of it and use the frame and door. Put some silicone around it and put a couple of self tapping screws and you have a trick looking access door. Ill find the pictures and show you. Pretty neat.

Wow, the last one looks ghetto. But who cares realy? I mean you can not see it.

It is still better than cutting off the exhaust and taking down the fuel tank to do a fuel pump swap.

I used a piece of sheetmetal, painted the stock color, and fastened it down with RTV and rivets. Seals up real nice.
