Talking ever heard of this!!!!!!!!

a guy i just ran into said he is running e85 in his grand national.........car is a consistant 9.66et 1.36 60 ft or something like that .....
he told me that i can run a better fuel pump in the ls1 car....with e85 and alcohal injection and the numbers after tuning are awesome..... is this something you reccomend????
my car is a 6.0 iron block with sts kit 9.1.1 all other mods are in sig.....does this sound right???

i did it. seems to work very well. i'm in the process of upgrading the fuel system now, it runs out fuel around 5000 rpm.

ya did a little reaserch over the weekend and it seems like tons of people are converting over to e85

yeah....you have to run alot more pump...i was looking into it and i would need to switch to a belt drive pump and two sets of injectors to run alcohol or e85...so im just sticking with what i got.

yeah thats a lot of money in a fuel system......i would like to do something more realistic....

Only is the government keeps subsidising it. It would be way more expensive if the government wasn't paying to keep them making it

the government has subsidising farmers for decades, i dont think it will be a problem. and even if it where to stop we could always make our own.

E85 has an octane rating of like 100-105 all the time from what I have read. Boosted cars love E85 I bet.
