Default ACCEL INJECTORS ?

Need some new injectors. Has anyone here used them and how did they perform? Any pros and cons? Thanks. Jason

I have them on my 94'z...(383 stroker), and there doin' fine...From what I hear, the aftermarket injectors don't have a metal clip, like on your factory ones. So, just keep an eye on them so they don't leak,or pop out, etc.

IMO accel injectors are junk.

I have personally had problems with 2 sets of mismarked sets of Accel injectors. (As in 24's marked as 36's).

Ed Wright has had this problem as well.

Well I would "like" to speak highly of them.

But i have 250 miles on my ls1 swap and my car left me stranded 50 miles from home and almost destroyed a rod/piston from hydrolocking last week when a brand new Accel 30# injector stuck wide open..... Took apart and cleaned it and it worked again, but the car is parked till a new injector shows up....

I'll be glad to run you anytime I'm there, but I'm not planning to go out there anytime soon.... but you never know.

You'll probably do like Joey did and whup me, but I won't mind. Just give me at least one rematch if you do....especially if I miss a freaking gear

I promise I won't spray you if I'm behind

Wouldnt have it any other way Scotty. You better not stay in the closet too long. We need to keep LS1's represen'in round here. Later, Jason
