What is the rwhp rating when these SVO 30# injectors max out? Trying to decide whether to go 36# or just get the 30# for a H/C/NXL system...

I'm planning on running the same thing really with the NXL system..... I chose the 30#'ers. Should be fine I think. You'd only need to go bigger if you did the same setup with a stroker motor or a FI setup IMO....

I did 36lb SVOs on my H/C car. They are probubly WAY overkill (current 400rwhp) but I didn't want to ever have to go back and replace them ($$$) if/when I do CIs or FI. Another advantage is that by having such a large injector, the duty cycles are really short (injector runs cool...last forever).
They are not "too big" because when I started (ported MAF) tuning the computer, I was 25% lean which tells me that the injectors are not overflowing the engine.

With a 80% duty cycle SVO 30's would be 460 HP at flywheel, then deduct the loss through drivetrain ( about 15%) depending on type of trannie you have to determine rearwheel value.

I've put down 544.1/567.3 sae on my lt1 prototype car with 30lb SVO injectors and stock programming. However I am running a stock intank fronted by an MSD booster pump and a rising rate fuel pressure regulator. I haven't installed a fuel pressure gauge however I'm sure it's up there.
