Default to be high or not to be high

hey all i was going to go with the motrons 60lb's but do i need high impedence or low also should i buy the flow matched? i have a ls1 and about to install a sts kit. so i think i should go with 60lb's or how much boost could 48lb's handle? thanks

To answer some of your questions the factory computer will run high impedence injectors which are what the mototron 60#'s are.

Horsepower rating depends on pumps, lines, boost ref, base fuel pressure etc.

hey thanks for reply i have been reading a lot on here just way to much info to sort out i the guy i bought it from said i could run 32lb injectors just like he did at 9psi w/80% duty but then everyone seems to have differant views so im just trying to find happy medium. ill give nate a try. thanks

Ive seen that red t/a so called''ws6'' i have two words for you '' very slow'' that's all i have to say!!!!!!!!

If you are not using an aftermarket ECM then you want high impedance injectors.

As far as boost. Injector sizing is all about calculating crank horsepower and base specific fuel consumption divided by the number of injectors.

On a turbo car the 48's will handle about 475 CRANK HP.

The 60's will do about 600 CRANK HP.

To convert to wheel HP, subtract 15% for a manual, 20% for an automatic.
