Default Injector choice

Just trying to see whos running what injectors out their? Big High-Impedance injectors, big low impedance with a driver box? Im looking to make 800WHP but want something that can go above that incase I need it in the future.

Rc 75's might do the trick for ya, but i dont know what they max out @ but should be good for more then 800. 60's usually max out around 700-800.

Exoticperformance sells the 75's.

Good luck, Chris

Low impedance 95lbs injectors that way you can still have room to play!

I got my 96lbers and driver box from the sponsor Nasty Performance. Nate is the man for fuel parts. I made well over 700whp through a TH400 and 9" and the injectors were barely stretchin' their legs. He can set you up with a nice boost referenced FPR too.

Racetronix has a new 79 lb high impedance injector out.Not too much info or feedback on them yet though.

I've generally heard the 60lbers at high pressure do better than the 75lbers at ANY pressure.

yeah i found a set of low impedance 65# SVO injectors but hadnt really seen anyone else with them. I want to keep a good idle quality but im hoping for something that can handle around 1000rwhp.

is there any preference, pros or cons, to switch to low-impedance injectors? or pros/cons to staying with high impedance injectors?

Driver box set-ups cost more, but can be tuned just as well. Go with the 96lbers and driver box from Nasty. It will cost ya a few hundred bucks more than running 60lbers.........but you know you have enough fuel. You will have enough fuel for 1000+ whp, for down the road

go big man just did a street tune and we thougth that 42lbs injectors would be good at 65 psi BIG wake up on that damn car push them to 94% IDC and it was only going to be 500 to 550 rwhp set up its more like closer to 600 what was i thinking LOL should have gone to 60s good luck on the injector hunt

Low-z are generally faster and do not have problems working at higher pressures like high-flow/high-z injectors do:

This setup will make using low-z injectors simple and reliable.

Big low-z injectors work very well on the street. I ran Delphi 95s driven by the factory LT1 PCM and a VersaFueler on my 9.47@148 Camaro for almost 4 years with no idling or cruising problems. *Very* crisp throttle response and 900 rpm idle in gear all day on race plugs.

The problem with big high impedance injectors is that the opening time varies widely from injector to injector. This ~0.5ms variation is no big deal on the dyno or at the strip where the pulsewidth is much longer than 10 ms, but it can really screw up idle fueling where the average pulsewidth is in the 2ms neighborhood.

Also, please remember that the VersaFueler was granted a United States patent, and the AEM box shown above is infringing on that patent, which is against the law.

The patent office hands out many patents that are not researched properly.

These types of circuits have been around way before that box came out and will not disappear. A patent is only good if you can afford to back it up with legal action. Then it becomes a matter of who has deeper pockets.

Our harness is available for the A/T box as a special order item. The AEM box offers the best value for the money and is well built. That is why we offer it in our bundle.
