symptoms of bad fuel pump?
symptoms of bad fuel pump? well since my best guess is the pump is facory and 14 y/o, im thinking my signs are a bad pump since ive ran the tank pretty low (1-2gal) numerous times.
stalling at idle once per drive cycle random time only when hot
cant put a good load on engine when warm-hot in gears 3-6
poor throttle response
shitty mpg
SES light (code 44 probably for lean/failing pump)
hard hot starts/need to hit gas for it to catch
this is the first time for me doing a pump diagnosis. a friend told me his did the same thing and had pressure at the rain in his TPI.
