How long before 93octane fuel goes bad?

How long before 93octane fuel goes bad? I just took the car out for the first time in about 4months. I never put any additive in the fuel before i put it away for the winter. Now when i go wot it makes some pretty loud popping/misfiring sounds. Do you guys think the fuel might be bad. This is a turbo ls1 with about 14psi and 18degrees timing. It didnt do this before i put it away.

Ya,im not going to beat on it at all untill its all gone. I was just wondering if anyone thought that was strange that gas would go bad after only 4 months.
