mechanical or electric fuel pressure?

hey all i need a fuel pressure gauge but not sure if i need electric or mechanical or will either one work for ls1 fuel rail?

either will work, but if you want the gauge in the car, you need an electric as most sanctioning bodies prohibit fuel lines in the vehicle

thanks i am not going to be going to track but i see you dont want a fuel line in car i was just being cheap is all $60 or $160 but yes it is for inside the car so i guess ill have to take the safe route so thanks again.

You can also do a mechanical gauge with an isolator, but by the time you buy all the hoses & fittings, it will be the same price as an electric. The electric is also easier to install.

Do not risk your life by using in in-car mechanical gauge without an isolator. Spraying fuel plus a dash full of electronics is not a good combination.
