Default different twin pump idea

so far i have got to 10psi with stock pump. i have a walbro i'm gonna throw in there. but i have a question. would there be a problem runing the walbro with the stock truck pump? as in would they fight each other or would they flow together? i don't have the money to buy another pump. so i figured why not leave the stocker there and add the new one i do have. i guess i'm just thinking outside th box alittle.

You could do that, but the biggest problem is getting the proper power to them & the proper installation. The pump cost is relatively minor in comparison to everything else required to install them properly.

'04 & up trucks also require the internal regulator to be removed, necessitating fuel line/regulator mods as well.

I do a lot of the truck double pumper kits and I try to provide an easy plug-n-play method for upgrading to these dual systems.

When it comes to fuel systems, I always recommend not cutting corners because lean mixtures can do some serious damage. If interested, feel free to give me a call.

so there wouldn't be a problem with one flowing more than the other? is there a reason why some people use a hobbs switch and some don't? what would be wrong with both pumps running all the time? do they just get too hot? i already have a return setup in mind that i want to put in. i figured i'd use the old feed as a return and run a new feed line. my question is how do people connect to the old feed line back by the sender? i would guess a -6 bulk head fitting to go back into the tank. but if the stock line is a hard line can you just flare it and use a hose clamp to connect to it?
