Used the search and cant find help. NEED HELP!!! Ok here's the deal. My 01 Z28 with bolt-ons and a fast 90/90 pretty average. I was going to install racetronix fuel pump it was junk, and I reinstalled the stock pump. Ok heres my problem. I turn the key the fuel pump is priming and getting power( i can hear it while I try to crank) and the car tries to turn over but it just wont crank. I checked the valve on the fuel rail and no fuel is coming out at all! Everything is double check as far as fuel rails, injectors, fuel lines, and wiring. I did notice that a fuse for my ignition is missing(friend working on fuel system maybe took it out?) I am at a loss alot of gearhead buddies are even lost. Please help my wife is really nagging about getting it started so we can cruise again( not a bad wife eh?) Thanks guys

You say the Racetronix is junk?..... why, what does or doesn't it do?
Did you use the wiring harness with it and also with the stock pump?
Did you hook up the venturi line to the pump?
Does it prime for 3-5 seconds?
How many times did you try priming it?
Did you try priming with the core removed from the fuel rail? Cover it with a big towel & see if you get any fuel.
Did you replace the fuel pump fuse & verify it is good?
Did you verify the 2 fuel lines are installed properly on the sender?
I may be able to help you if I have more info.

So far heres all I got
1.used stock wire harness and hot wire kit with stock fuel pump.
2. If you mean the three lines on the fuel pump connected yes(trap door mod)
3.I hear a buzz for 3-5 seconds when I turn the key.so, yes?
4. I tried priming it several times 5-6 to be exact.
5. I havent tried priming with the core out will try tomorrow
6.Replaced fuel pump fuse, old one was good but replaced it anyways.
Thats all Ive tried so far Ill try pulling the schrader valve tomorrow. Ill let you know.

Try a search & you will find hundreds of fuel pump posts from the past year.
People cut holes all the time, but I do not recommend it. Do it right & remove the tank so you can clean it thoroughly.
