Default LS7 fuel pressure ????

Well I am getting conflicting opinions. So I am asking you guys what you think. I am running the 600A weldon external pump, with the weldon by pass regulator. I know the LS7 uses a dead head system on the vettes. But I have been told to run a by pass set up on my rod. One place says run 50 PSI at idle with a vacuum line run to the regulator, then as the engines goes to wide open throttle set the PSI at 58 to 60. Then another company says set the PSI at 58 to 60 at idle, and do not use the vacuum. That way I would have 58 to 60 PSI all the time. Does anyone else have an LS7 that could help? Or a company that has installed a LS7 that has been thru this already?

I'm no fuel pressure guru, but from what I've learned from a few LS-based swaps, these engines need 50 psi at idle, and 58 - 60 psi at WOT. Don't quote me but I think the first guy is correct.

Thanks Nate. Does you shop dyno tune the LS7 engines? Also I have 4"dia' air intake that I installed the factory MAF in. Do you think that will be OK?
