Default Problem: Car Won't Start

My friend and I hooked up the TNT Wet kit, and now the car won't start. I have not sprayed, hooked up the RPM wire, or the TPS wire. I tried to start the car and it sounded like it was cammed for 2 seconds and then died. The car turns over, it just won't start. I added 4 gallons of 91 because when i turned the car on the gauge was reading all the way back past empty. I added the gas, primed it and nothing. Then i decided to push the little valve on the fuel rail and no gas came out....

is this a fuel pump issue? why would the gas gauge still read empty if the fuel pump doesn't work? help would be appreciated.

Im not sure man Im having the same problem with a fuel pump install. Lonnies told me to try replacing the fuel pump fuse and also put a big towel under the fuel rail nd try starting the car with the valve core removed. I havent had a chance to try it yet because Im out of town. If you hear anything or find anything out let me know!! Im stumped!

Gas gauge not reading and no pressure makes it sound like you lost a fuse or a relay. In your underhood fuse block check the fuses and relays and swap them with a diff (non-essential to running) fuse or relay and see what it does. Just sounds like you're not getting power to the tank

you said it primed, but it couldn't have if there was no pressure on the rail.

I had this problem a while back, car cranked and idled for about 5 secs then died, and then would only turn over..

Mine ended up being a fuse we had popped because of the wiring in the kit, all it has to do is touch the wrong thing..

ONE easy solution to these types of problems, is that it is usually something VERY simple and we get enthralled in a complex issue when its not
