Default Help with Nasty Performance Fuel Tank...

Has anyone else had problems with the tank not wanting to fit with the stock straps? Seems like mine are 6" or so too short, or maybe I'm just not doing something right? Any help or info would be great.

Thanks! Blake

Should not need an extra 6"? I have seen some installs need about 100mm bolts to get it pulled up but if you bend the straps in the shape of the new tank it should be pretty close.

Yea, my straps were being a PITA but I just bought 2 new bolts and it pulled the tank on up. Now that the straps are bent pretty good to the shape of the new tank I may try the stock bolts again.

The tank should come with longer bolts. Ive done 3 cars and all of them required me to go to home depot. Now when they strech and form it is closer. But Im not one to go back and redo work Ive allready done
