Default Alternatives to Aeromotive fuel check valve?

I'm looking for a check valve with -6an male and -6an female connections that can attach to the end of a hose. The second fuel pump doesn't have a checkvalve built in.

Is aeromotive the only choice?

I beleive if you look at the flow of that valve it flows from the male to the female so it is intended to screw into a pump outlet and have a hose with a adaptor on the other end. So it will not work for putting in between two hose conections.

That's what I need, to unscrew the hose from the fitting on the tank and insert a checkvalve. One Walbro has a little ball bearing checkvalve, the other doesn't. The aeromotive checkvalve is about $70.

take a look at this Aero info. The check valve does not go between the tank and the pump.

When you get to the site link, clik on "specs". It explains the correct use of this item.
Doing so, will/can cause the pump to cavitate, and self destruct.

I ended up picking up one of the Aeromotive checkvalves.

Thanks for the caution, but I will be installing it after the in-tank fuel pump.

The tank has dual in-tank pumps, and an outlet for each outside the tank, two hoses then go to a Y-block and into an 8an line. The original (walbro) pump has a checkvalve, the second (walbro) pump doesn't have a checkvalve. I'll add the Aeromotive checkvalve to the outlet belonging to the second pump. It's operational only when activated by a gas pedal microswitch.
