Default Fuel pump dont prime first time???

Tyring to tune this car and wondering if there is something wrong with it. You turn the key and then try and start it, it cranks for a few seconds before it fires. If you turn the key on and then off twice (to prime it) it fires instantly. On the first turn of the key pressure only builds to 20psi. Then it is fine after that. No other issues with it except the initial prime.

Is there something in HP Tuners that can compensate for this? Prime time? Or is something not right?.. obviously something seems wrong.

Car is a 97 firebird with an LS1 conversion. Also another problem is putting gas in it, gas will not go in it stops, it takes about 20 minutes to fill the tank because you have to do it so slowly. Tanks been taken out, all check valves that we could find are free. Is there a breather line? All the emmisions and stuff are off the car.

Should have left the EVAP stuff in tact as that is your vent line. You need to be able to let air in and out as it fills and pumps out. On top of your sender there are several lines a feed, return, and one is your vent needs to be run higher than the tank and add a breather to the end.

Programming in additional priming time will help your issue as well.

How? Im not sure what to make of the tables. Or how to read what exactly they do. The descriptions are really vague.
