New Fuel Pump - Trouble Starting I just had a Racetronix fuel pump kit installed. Whenever I start my car I have to prime it by turning the key to the on position like 3 or 4 times to get fuel to feed up. Other than that it runs fine. Anybody know what this could be?
I had the pump installed when my new rear went in, but now I think I'm gonna have to cut a hole in the floor anyway to fix whatever problem it is.

Some Walbro pumps do take longer to prime, but it should not take 3 or 4 times. It it was only after sitting for long periods, I would not worry. But doing it every time is possibly a leak.
Try installing a pressure gauge on the rail & see how long the pressure holds after you shut the car off.
It could be due to a line in the tank leaking. Most likely the one that connects to the inside top of the sender.
